All five of those teams have problems, Purdue chokes every time, Alabama fizzles out every time, Kansas can win but this Kansas team has no inside threat and little depth but they can win it, UCLA. It probably playing a level above what are capable of maintaining. Arizona is good and can win it but their guard play is the problem in March

Field. And I would keep a close eye on Marquette. Only 3 losses since December. Two in OT and by 4 at Xavier. At UCONN this week will be interesting.

Houston might get it done in a weak year. Tennessee has the team, but I don’t believe in Barnes. UVA could be in the mix.

Wide open tournament, but your group has a puncher’s chance for sure.

Houston theirs something that just tellls me they aren’t winning a title
They probably won't but I'd give them just as good of a chance as any of those other teams. While they haven't been consistently blowing teams out, they have pretty much the same team from last year I think with the addition of Sasser returning and they added 5-star freshman Jarace Walker who is really good and a projected lotto pick. He looked great tonight. Went like 4-5 on threes.

Rutgers at IU is another good one this week. Rutgers is a tough group.

Tennessees offense will be what holds them back

Arizona's guards are pretty good, man....especially Ramey----transfer from Texas. I think they are the best team in the country...They have some serious bigs in Ballo and Tuebillis. But over looking their guards is a no-no... Krissa shoots 38% from 3---very good passer(5.7apg), and athletic as hell....Ramey as is a sniper man....42%. SCores at 10ppg, while handing out 3.5apg....Larsson not the shooter the other two are, but he can get to the rim, finish with contact. Averages 3.4apg....

When your 3 guards can shoot, can score, and between them, average 12apg/4.2 tov, that is solid. Add that to their bigs? Best team in the country...

Purdue is good, BUT-----even though Edey is their dude, those two FRESHMAN guards have stirred the drink. Them being better than thought and playing as well as they have, is a big reason Purdue is as good as they are. IU laid a very good blueprint to beat them....Run them off the 3 point line....pressure their guards, making entry passes tough. Their guards struggle with length, athletic guards...COncern with them is Edey getting into foul trouble. Big, BIG problem if that happens.

KU has no interior threat, but goodness they are loaded on the wings/guards. Wilson is a NPOY type of dude....In a year like this, would not surprise me if they won it all. Self is a dick, but that dude can ***** coach.

Alabama is a bad shooting night from going home. The draw for them is very important. I never wanna bet on a team that relies so heavily on the 3-ball. I mean can you shoot it that good for 6 straight? Tough.

UCLA has good guards, and Jaime Jaquez is a baller, who can carry you. Adem Bona at 6'10 is a problem in the middle---athletic, good ball skills. Then there is Campbell...Can get to the rim....finds dudes, and can shoot it a little(35%). This is a good basketball team..

I like Houston....tough man. Just tough. They remind of 2012 UK, minus the talent of course. But more so as in they can play at any tempo----Fast, medium, slow----don't matter. And they are a defensive terror....I like this team...Athletic, fast, shooters, and they have Mr. Sasser.

Tenn----Just not good enough, consistently offensively....Defensively, sure. But ya gotta score. And they struggle to do so.

Don't fprget about UConn----Sure they crashed hard, but this team has the pieces. I don't think they win it all---but if they got there, would not surprise me. And if you get there? Welp.......

Others not to over look-----Texas and even Baylor.

TBH if I had to pick right now?

Arizona....

Ramey and Krisa are not good enough you need better guards to win just my opinion every team mentioned isn’t great they are good but can be beat

Who's guards, as a collection are that much better? They take care of the ball----can shoot it---can scored from all three levels...
They acerage 31ppg/12apg./5.1 tov combined....That doesn't include Henderson: 7ppg, 38% from three.

Larsson is overlooked....Played HS in Sweden. But a very athletic kid, who can score off the bounce.

These dudes are a solid core...

Krisa disappeared last year during the tournament and is Jekyll and hide, Ramey is a good secondary guard but lead guard idk, and Henderson is going to be really good in time, but Arizona will live and die with the front court

Yeah, I thought Arizona was probably better last year with Mathurin. He was an absolute stud. And they should have probably lost their 2nd game against TCU. The tourney is just so unpredictable.

He was a soph, playing second fiddle basically to Mr. Mathurin. He(Kriisa) wasn't playing well for about the last 2 weeks, or so----But again---Soph.

He's a different player this year.....

Larsson, Ramey and Kriisa is a solid b/c.....

I don't disagree at all that their f/c is their bread and butter----Teubillis, Ballo

I would love to see that Ballo vs Edey matchup.

7ft 260 pounds with a 7ft 6 wingspan vs 7ft 285 pounds with a 7ft 7 wingspan

I puked thinking of this but for a down season a team like duke could win it all. They have freshmen who are improving while many other teams are peaking. Gives hope for us next season

I like Kentucky and here is why:

UK is starting to play its best basketball right now and seems to be improving on a game by game basis. Having 4 new players in the rotation coupled with all the injuries throughout this season and the tough stretch of early season games away from Rupp has caused this team to take a bit longer to gel and that may not be a bad thing come the post season.

Our top 7/8 players are all improving simultaneously!
You saw what happens when we wear down teams with Wallace and then insert a fresh and fast Wheeler; he blew by UF for 3 coast to coast layups!
Our O is up to #19 in KP and though our D is still in the 60’s it is clearly improving with Toppin’s weakside help paying dividends on a nighly basis as well as Wheeler and Wallace’s on the ball hounding.

UK has allowed only 71 pts or fewer in 7 straight SEC games for the 1st time in 8 yrs and the streak is still alive. That 2015 juggernaut gave up 71 points or fewer in 12 straight SEC games. This team could too!
With Collins starting to emerge that's just another 5 star threat added to an already gelling force.
