Defense still is slow and soft

Two top QB recruits and neither looks legit. McCaffery accuracy & decision making are way below what i would expect in his 2nd year. Still looks like he's right out of high school.

O-line still mistake prone

Special teams aren't special

Play calling is terrible. Can't get Wandale the ball except on handoffs. Would be better to have some designed plays in space. Too many QB draws and short passes on 3rd and long.

3rd and Chinander...we all know what that means. Defensive philosophy isn't working and its obvious.

McCaffrey was never a top "QB" recruit. He didn't even start at QB until his senior year of high school. His ranking was solely based on his athletic ability/pedigree.

Frost thought he had a Heisman-caliber Adrian Martinez for 3 more years and would have plenty of time to develop McCaffrey into a QB.

It isn't just one day. It's all the time that guys are messing around or not focused. Frost is too much of a players coach and will likely fail as a result.

Let's be real they aren't "top" QB recruits. McCaffrey played one year of QB in high school. That's a horrible gamble by the coaching staff. Martinez was also passed over due to injuries to his shoulder. Another recruiting gamble at the most important position. Now go over all the other recruiting gambles we have taken, particularly at RB.

here we are in year three talking about the same things we talked about in year one....I admit it...I turned to Indiano-Ohio State...35-42 Ohio State so far......Tom Allen who came in and made INDIANA a good team ...and only makes #3.9 Mill per year (only...yeah...I know...).
One of my biggest beefs is that we pay a high level coach (and staff) but are only getting marginal at best.....fans should be either apathetic or livid.

Someone had to say it. Our team is a bunch of guys that love to look good in a uniform and on social media. Nothing about this team or program is about what happens between the lines anymore.
