Mitch Vingle, a known WVU apologist, rates the top sports figures in WV according to their importance.

WVU dominated the list.

And this is contrary to the facts.

Doc Holliday, Danny D'Antoni, Mike Hamrick, Jeff Wagonner, Bob Marcum, The Real Sam C, The Greenhouse Effect, Hum-Hum White, Tyrone Phillips, and Hop Sanderson would be my top 10 picks for most influential simply based on their dominance of WVU.

If this is not corrected soon I will jump off the NRGB in protest.

Jeffrey Allen Sinclair, is a Brigadier General currently serving in the United States Army.[1] He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from West Virginia University, a Master of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University, and a Master of Arts in national security and strategic studies from the Naval War College.[1]He has served as the Army Operations Officer and chief of the Plans and Training Division in the Joint Special Operations Command.[2] He was also Deputy Commander of support for 82nd Airborne Division in Afghanistan before being removed from command and placed under investigation for allegations violations of military ethics and sexual assault.[3][4]

James L Pohl was assigned to Preside over Sinclair`s court martial in January 2013.[5]

A Marshall University football player has been charged with stabbing an Ohio man during a fight at a Huntington bar, while a West Virginia University football player faces another shoplifting charge. Marshall defensive end Bobby Addison, 20, of Washington, D.C., was being held Friday night at the Cabell County Jail on a felony malicious wounding charge. Bond was set at $25,000.

Police said Addison stabbed Josh Ryan Petrie, 21, of Proctorville, Ohio, in the chest early Friday morning during a fight at The Drink.

Petrie was treated at St. Mary's Hospital and released, a hospital spokeswoman said.

Huntington police Sgt. Randy Byard said an officer who witnessed the fight used pepper spray to break it up. …

Mitch Vingle is a WVU homer masquerading as a sports reporter. He penned an article late in the regular season declaring that this is the year of WVU, and the year of Bob Huggins. After the season, he cited some hocus pocus analytics for his conclusion that the 2015-16 season was the best WVU regular season ever. Never has a second place team/runner-up received such accolades. LMAO!

Gen. Sinclair was probably a straight shooter type of guy until he was forced to associate with those "JARHEADS" while serving with the Joint Special Operations Command. You know how those leathernecks can be. He had to watch his six every second!

WhiteTailEER, this is the former "King Coal". He lives in Putnam County, works in Charleston, hates all things WVU, and constantly whines that he has to see people wearing WVU clothing. [laughing]
