To start- unlike most people, I don’t claim to have sources nor am I “hearing” anything. I also don’t think my opinion actually means anything.

But IMO, we need to have a clear direction by Monday morning. If we are sticking with Joe, he needs some kind of public vote of confidence for recruiting purposes and to project stability so we can get a decent special teams and S&C coach. If we are moving on without him, then make the move. Don’t let it drag out. Hopefully Rutgers come through for us.

I don’t think Joe is the long term solution, and giving him an extra year would be delaying the inevitable IMO. But some of the things I’ve seen are ridiculous (mostly from a certain nutjob message board)- Boycotting the bowl game, setting up buyout gofundmes, etc.

If Joe comes back, I hope he proves me wrong. I will be pulling for him hard and still showing up to DWS.

Our football fan base has a short, short memory. As long as we are near .500, we are okay no matter how many *** whoppings we take duding the season.

If we had a baseball coach have this sort of season and miss the big post season, then tell us all to pound sand they would burn down the sports administration building.
