I know the six day window is being exercised but looking to next week, Bama vs. LSU will be 8 on CBS, UK vs. Georgia will be 3:30 on CBS. The only other game that could get the night slot would be PSU vs. Michigan. A couple of factors though, PSU has two losses and could lose tomorrow to Iowa. The only other option would be OU vs. TT but Tech plays ISU in Ames and TT has 2 loses already. ABC is so selective and rarely puts the Big 12 on ABC prime time. Why they are putting Texas at Okie State tomorrow is beyond me. Unless Texas loses, WVU and Texas should 8 pm on ABC. Top tier defense vs Top tier offense. Thoughts?

I don't believe the Michigan-Penn State game will get the primetime spot, as Michigan prefers to play day games. They just played Wisconsin two weeks ago in primetime, and I doubt they really want to do another night game, assuming they have any say in the matter. I would expect UM-PSU to be at the 3:30 ABC slot, or even the noon spot. Harbaugh really loves those noon start times, which most people, particular those tailgating, cannot stand.
I think WVU-Texas is a lock for a night game. 8:15 more likely because that's 7:15 in Texas and would give it a chance to gain viewers if competing games get out of hand.
My daughter is holding up the time for my 86th birthday party so that it won't conflict with the WVU-Texas TV coverage. Otherwise, the guest of honor would be missing.

I get UM news updates on my cell phone, so once a story hits, I get a notification. I've noticed that Vernon is usually quick to post stuff like this, so I'm guessing you'll know a definitive start time within the next 24 hours.

Lot of games to be picked from. So I would say it has to do with who wins who loses.
3:30 start surprised me, but Texas losing probably is responsible for that. And now the TCU game gets another 6-day window. That shows TV realizes WVU brings a lot of eyeballs to the screen. But it does make it hard to plan anything around the kickoff times. In the TCU case, it's in Mountaineer Field so I'll be there because, at 86 on Nov. 5, I'm not dead yet. But my 86th birthday party time was put on the shelf till the Texas kickoff time was announced because I'm not anywhere but home in front of MY TV set for that one.
