I'm not sure Jones is a better on-ball defender. There's a lot of things going for Jones that helps make his job easier. Duke not getting whistled for fouls, playing with two phenoms that garner all the attention, etc. Plenty of Jones' steals were him running behind the guy or intercepting passes.
