Best surprise win in quite sometime. I really thought we would get rolled and the game never be competitive. Was proud how the team came out ready to play for a change and probably even more proud how they fought through the adversity of the Tech fest against them when Arkansas finally surged ahead. They could have folded and lost easily by double digits but they didn’t. They rebounded from that and played good basketball. Hopefully this carries over to the next game, then the next and on. Watching a team care about winning is so much better than what we witnessed in Nashville (twice this year).

Great energy coming out of the gate and I’m glad to eat my crow.
I had, for the second time, given up on the season. I gave us a pretty much zero chance of winning tonight and, you'll probably remember, predicted losing 6 of our last 10. Who knows what comes after this, we could crash back to hell or we could keep winning. This team confuses the hell out of me. Loved the fight tonight, why can't we show this kind of energy every game?

Kentucky gets knocked down, but we always get tf back up. Its the will of BBN. These are trying times because of the lack of FF's, but the Wildcats are never finished. 40s, 50s, 70s, 90s, 2010s. UK is like a ******* Phoenix. Always rising out of the ashes.

I admit, I didn’t think we had this one in is. There have been several like that so far this season.

but I will say, this is the first time we taught for a full game against a legit team. If we do that, we are capable of being a good team.

Same here! The way played against Vandy, I thought there was no chance we would beat Arkansas. Fantastic win and hopefully it will give them confidence that they can play with anyone in the SEC.

Beat Cal on his floor, with no point guard, and three starters out. I wonder who coached the better game.

Not that it takes a lot to outcoach Cal, but Pope is a good coach. He really is. Flagg and Knueppel combined for like 85 points the other night in the NBA, and Pope beat them with a bunch of secondhand players. Beat the national champs. Is 3 for 4 against Rick Barnes.

He just needs to be able to recruit. If he can get the top talent here and they can STAY HEALTHY, I have no doubt he will succeed. But that’s a big if at this point.

Really the first game all year we have been ready to play at the tip. Good win, need to play better in games without Cal on the other side.
Truth, we need to come out like that more often. Seeing us shoot 54% is fantastic for a change.
