Our pass defense all year has been atrocious. Didn't expect our defensive line to get manhandled though. Still thought S. Carolina would win the game as it is at their place and they are playing motivated to save Beamers job.

We are saving beamers job, exactly what he needed was us coming to Columbia. Geez we look bad to this point.

I'm really impressed with Stein. People are too hot cold week to week this is the SEC. He looks tremendously bad *** as a future coach and he's from here and likely wouldn't leave unless the NFL. He has to have some time. Even with the NIL he needs at least 12 months of breathing room and he's already winning against programs like Texas7&5 on the road, and in the ballgame for a team like USC at WBS. Chill out a little bit unless you're gambling.

USC is not a bad football team and their stadium is top 7/8 in the league. It's a good program with great players at key positions. And we're in it playing like crap.

Stein gets a lot of rope with me. We got a gift in Florida taking Sumrall. Chill out.

The thing that gives me such confidence in Stein is this. We quit against Bama in the second half. In previous eras that would have led to the slog of another lost season. That was corrected by Stein with a quickness. He plays to win. He doesn’t quit and he won’t let his team quit. That’s all I’ve ever asked for in a coach. We have a lot of hurdles to overcome here in football. But effort and fight don’t have to be.
