Purdue vaults to the top after that hard fought win over Minnesota. Schedule is very very favorable for the Boilermakers from here on out and are easily playing the best ball of anyone in the league at this point. Michigan ran into a buzz called Iowa but do not sleep on them. Revenge matchup with Wisconsin looming this weekend. Michigan State was awful in losing to Indiana. Will be tested at Illinois and home to Minnesota this week. Wisconsin has tough road swing at Minny and at Michigan. Will learn alot about just how good they are or aren't. Iowa got that feather in their cap win but must avoid the letdown at Indiana. Maryland clearly dropping off from what everyone thought they could be. Need to regroup at Nebraska. Ohio State stopped the bleeding by handling Rutgers, now need to take care of business against favorable schedule. Indiana left for dead at RU, stunned MSU. Still alot to play for. This week is huge vs Iowa/OSU. RU keeps plugging along but reality check at OSU. Have to hold it together with tough stretch ahead. Illinois has also played well of late. Two more homes to see exactly how good they are. Nebraska is crashing hard and the schedule is brutal this week. Northwestern can solidify Penn State as the worst team in the conference with a win. Lions have a lot of close losses but are 0-10 for a reason

NCAA projections: 8......Purdue, Michigan, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Iowa, Maryland, Minnesota, Ohio State

I don’t think anyone would’ve had us at 10 this year...good analysis! Maybe lightning will strike for us against UM....

Hope you're right Bac. It would be a big step forward not to have to play the 1st night.

Indiana now has 3 quad 1 wins....Michigan State, Marquette and Lousville...also have 3 Quad 2 wins. They have no bad losses...worst is RU but that is a Q2 loss A Net rank of 43 and a sos of 42

If the season ended today, they are in.

I think 5-4 down the stretch can get them in. They have Iowa and Ohio State at home..huge opportunities for wins...note they close with Illinois and RU

with a down Big East and Pac 10 and AAC and Atlantic 10, this would be a great year to cut back to 54. As of now ESPN still has Indy, SHU, and Nebby all in
