Elkin 35, West Wilkes 2
Just finished on NFHS.. Elkin's offense had a good night. West's run defense is quite rough.. Elkin optioned them quite a bit out of the shotgun. West was in the I which was a surprise I expected the pistol. West got a lucky safety to prevent the shutout. West did have a good amount of kids out despite all that.

Is MA and Central still playing or did they get delayed? MA's Athletic twitter said so as of 5 but the NFHS feed isn't working,

Wow.. expected a closer game than that. Central played East very tough last week. MA will cruise if they keep this up
Bears were without many key contributors from the JV team with some playing up this week and a few injuries. Definitely a talented group, that is also deep.
West Wilkes & Forbush JVs are playing tomorrow night. Ashe JVs have run into issues that played a roll into last weeks game cancelled with East Wilkes

Absolutely! These 2 will be conference foes once again in the fall so they will get a sneak peak as to what the future holds.
Once again the spineless coaches/parents/administrators manage to have their kids not play football in the rain. Poor little snowflakes might get hurt playing real football. MEGA

For what it is worth, MA was without their 4 best freshmen (3 start on varsity, and 1 is injured for the season). Then, the starting RB, who may be the best JV player in the conference, gets hurt on the first play of the game. MA was up 12-0 at the half and then had a TON of cramps in the 2nd half. Not making excuses, but ES did not beat the young group of talent MA has. I wouldn't look too much into this score.
Kids develop differently anyways. Congratulate East Surry and move on. I have seen dominant JV teams with underclassmen on varsity that did absolutley nothing as a varsity group numerous times. You never know what their development is going to look like or your opponents.

Ma is so great but seem to keep falling short , I can’t understand it cause no talent is coming from pilot anymore lol
Yeh East wasn’t 100 percent either I think 3 of them had a headache , 4 hadn’t slept all nite , 5 were just ready for the season to end , lol it’s so funny to see these ma posters with the dumb comments all the time .You got beat , I would tighten those chin straps Friday nite too , I’m sure if ma loses there will be some reason ,cause ma is so talented .
Actually, my comments were not dumb at all. ES won. Congrats! It is a JV football game. Anyone who knows the two programs knows the boys that did not play for MA last night. They know MA is a lot better than what played last night. But congrats on the JV win. I'm glad you are gloating over that.
Hats off to ES they played hard. It is what it is and if #1 doesn't break his collar bone first play ma rolls. #2 qb had broke hand and #5 rb moved up to v. East earned the win and had the better coaching. MA full strength are pretty good. All the cramps ma had was redicolous and coaching didn't have them prepared and in shape. Next 3 years Bears will be 2008 good. Lineman for Ma knocked out conclusion. Hope these kids are ok.
