Must make big plays

I hear mullen say this often as the key to winning games, and I agree that players must step onto the field ready to impact the game in a big way, but it almost has the ring of desperation. I mean, how many big plays are needed when you out man a team and simply dominate the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball? Glad we have mullen just wonder if he is beginning to see the futility of football at state.
