Typical Smooth thread topic. Let's see where he runs off too and posts another thread making fun of UK fans.
You can find him on the UNC board posting entirely different as if he is a Tar Heel fan , he also doesn't post moronic ish like is this better than that or is that better than this or is thisn' better than thatn' .

Yes you are. No matter who you look at it comparing a nba player to a high school kid and asking who is better is stupid.

Can you ban this guy again John? Although his trolling threads are better than some...I'll give him that.

This is not fair to Jamal as he has yet to play a game for Kentucky.

Wiggins was the #1 pick in the draft because of his freak athleticism. Murray does not have that, however Jamal may have a bigger impact on the college level and end up being the better college player. Wiggins will be the better NBA player.

If we are comparing the 2 at the college level then Murray could realistically be better, only time will tell. It's great to have these athletic guys but it's also nice to have guys that know how to shoot the basketball.

My pick for college? Give me Murray, he chose to be here.

Why is Murray even being compared to Wiggins? Different positions, and one hasn't even played in the NBA yet. Stupid thread

Negative, Wiggins has the potential to defend at an elite level. His defensive rating in college was 102.8 (which means he would allow that many points in 100 possessions). That's average. For comparison to an elite level defender, Alex Poythress' defensive rating was 85.5 before his injury last season. Another reference is Tyler Ulis, whose defensive rating is 90.3 for last season. Those two are elite defenders.
I said " can " defend at an elite level. Not does defend at an elite level. He has an ability to block shots, get steals and contest shots like Murray never will just based on speed and athletic ability.

I think its conceivable to believe that Murray could be a better college player than Wiggins, due to his shooting. He will never be the elite, high-end athlete that Wiggins is, but Murray seems to be more polished for their freshman season.

Precisely my point. I think being an all-around basketball player has to apply to more things than simply athleticism and slashing ability, even is Wiggins slashes better than Murray does anything. There were still a lot of holes in his game going into college. Murray has the more complete game, but he isn't dominant in any one area.
