As two of the most overhyped but underwhelming players in UK history.

Murray caught lightning in a bottle over the summer and UK fans (including me) took it and ran.

Skal, I don't really feel I need to explain.

Beyond frustrating.

Excuses but it's still early and Murray skipped his senior year and Skal hasnt played much ball.

I'm not sure it's fair to lump Murray in there. He's a bit out of control and his shot isn't falling, but he at least plays hard and at least gives the impression that on-court results matter to him. Skal, on the other hand ...

Yes, yes they will.

Both extremely overrated and under performers.

I'm shocked that both are this bad.

To lump Murray and Skal in same boat...totally over-reach. Murray is a bit of a gunner and his shot is not falling...but his handles, shooting (when shooting good shots), size for a guard, etc.. are good.

Skal...I still don't see what would make him a top 25 NBA pick...much less a top 5 pick.

They will either be backups at Kentucky or free agents in Europe next season.

What you are saying may or may not prove to be the case for Labissiere, but I will give him a full season before jumping to conclusions. This kid didn't play on his high school basketball team as a junior or senior. You are just plain wrong about Murray though.

Well, genius, would you care to retract your ridiculous criticism of Jamal Murray now?

We had probably 1 guy come to play. Tyler Ulis is not the player I expected him to be this season. Good? Yes. Far from great.

Murray is a player. Skal is another story. He's so bad right now we are almost better off playing with 4 players than to have him on the floor. Skal can't be out there right now. If it destroys his confidence that's too bad but he is not good enough to even give us spot minutes right now.

Brian, Skal is horrible. Don't believe the hype on any kid coming out of the city of Memphis. Skal can't be on the floor in crucial situations as we just saw with cal.

His draft stock is about to start nose diving. I hope there is a path for him to leave after this year.

Murray will be a stud is he could maintain some consistency.

I'm not doubting you on that, just reaching for anything to keep the hope alive he might turn around by tourney time.

Murray's points don't mean crap. He had all those points and we still lose. Too little too late. Thought he played selfish as usual. His selfishness, no interior game, ulis having a let down season are all contributing to this embarassment. We can expect more of the same the rest of the season.

Selfish... because so many other offensive options were out there...hmm.

Lots to gripe about but you choose Murray, the only decent basketball player wearing blue today, you choose him?

Your 11 year streak of zero likes is NOT in jeopardy!

Not really worried about likes. Which only was an option in the last year. Not that it matters. But I'll like your posts if it makes you feel better about yourself.

It's not selfish if you are the ONLY guy on the team who can score, which is the case for Murray. It's selfish of the other players if they don't get him at least 25 shots a game.

He scored this game. Have you watched him the rest of the year? If he gets the ball he doesn't pass. It's going to continue to cost us until he becomes a team player. Which my hopes are not high that's happening anytime soon.
