That's how I feel. From now on I'll just celebrate when a player commits. Forget all this about to stuff. Diallo did so I'm happy about that at least. Maybe this guy comes but I'm done getting hopes up before hand
I think you mis-focus when you worry about where a player was ranked in some portal or high school ranking chart. The relevant question, I believe, is how does a player at a certain position compare to the other options available at that position. From that vantage point, it seems Diallo was considered one of the top PG options out there – especially in regard to PGs with size and strength (which many feel is important in the SEC).
BUT he was the 9th BEST PG available and got Washington to a tie for 13th in the B1G. Don't crap on our parade..

Some of those guys might get drafted.

If that is our starting lineup I think most people would be ok/happy with that. Would still need some good bench players, but tha starting lineup has potential. I would gladly take it.

Would be very happy with that roster all things considered. Smallest dude in the starting 5 would be 6'4. Good versatility off the bench too

Hawthorne as a 4 in D1? Yeah, I wouldn’t bet anything of value on that one. Otherwise, we’ll have to take what Pope can give us.
