So what he did was justifiable self defense? I was just pointing out what she did could've caused him serious harm.

All that said, he will always be paying for that one decision. If he has the ability to make the NFL, he's going to be at least 3 rounds lower in the draft than his talent will dictate, and if he is marginal, he'll never get a chance. He should've just walked away.

Legally it is the same.....

Would I ever hit a woman...probably not unless there was some unusual circumstance such as a woman beating up my sister.

Define no threat. If a woman swings at me, I would see that as a threat, as should the law. Her intent was to harm, as was his. People just can't go around swinging at other people and dismiss their actions because of their gender.
