Mullen deserves another year. This is his first down year in Gainesville. Frost has been all down years.
I don't understand Frost's staff loyalties...he had no problem getting rid of Walters and DeWitt after Year 2....but keeps Austin, Verduzco, and Held despite 4 years of no development at their positions.
Because he's a stubborn, narcissistic ***-hat. And it's just one of many reasons why he should be fired.
It's a desperation move to keep his job. I think Florida would get 6 wins and a bowl with or without the fired assistants. They're having a mediocre year. We are in year 4 of our dumpster fire.
It is but it is also him trying to take heat off himself, which makes sense.
I’d actually say Rahmir is one of the most developed players on the team. His first year he looked like a track star with straight line speed and no RB skills. He looks like a legit RB now. Ozigbo also improved tremendously under this staff.
Agree on Austin and Verduzco though.
I suppose you could argue that if you are firing your staff during the season what it really means is that you sucked at hiring the right guys in the first place.
Mullen has never won a conference championship as a head coach, and has only 1 division title. He is full of excuses every time they lose.

He isnt overrated. He gets endless hate from fans and the media. Reality is he is the best Florida coach since urban and has had 3 good years before this one. He should be allowed a mulligan season. Frost hasnt done better than 5-7. It is insane florida is thinking of a coaching change and Nebraska is holding onto a last place coach
