Forbes would be the better option in terms of replacing reeves if he enters but this ain’t a bad option either
Mulcahy seems like pg creator type, I would agree on forbes or reeves being in a better option

With Dillingham and Wagner here as freshmen it would be nice to have an excellent experienced ballhandler like Mulcahy with them. He'd be a nice steadying force for them. He might not be a big scorer, but he's still a good player. This is the kind of guy you need on your bench.
Would be a good add this late but my goodness…are we relying on Oweynso, Burks and Thiero to hold down the 4/5? We need some big guys.

Watching? That’s all our staff has been doing this offseason. We need them to act.

Kid is not going to transfer to sit the bench behind freshmen. That's not how the portal works. Kids enter the portal to go somewhere where they can start and showcase themselves.
If any of these WVA guys enter they will go after them, they have to
Somto/ Edwards, reeves or a guard like him, and maybe one more player and let’s go I guess
Mulcahy is a good fit. With all the scoring talent we have, we need a pass first guard that can knock down the open three. He’s a good fit. Experience, passing, and shooting. I think he would be the perfect fit.

I think we will add Cyril and maybe Mulcahy and call it good. That would put us at 11 (12 if you count Canada), which I think is Cal’s limit.
Should go after Edwards or Brown for an experienced big man, but I think Cyril will be the last inside piece we get. If he falls through, then maybe Cal goes for a transfer big.

I think they try and get Edwards and get somto to wait until 2024 or bring him in and sit, and get reeves, mulcahy would be a good add on top of that
Edwards would be a really good fit.
And we could use both he and Cyril.
Edwards could get some run at the 4.
We really need four bigs in Cal’s system. Bradshaw, Edwards, Cyril, and Onyenso would give us a solid rotation at the 4 and 5.
I don’t see us getting Reeves back. I really think that ship has sailed.
Hopefully, Mulcahy fills the last guard spot.
We are more likely to get Clinger in high heels.
With reeves them leaving his locker up and ordering jerseys for him has to mean they feel a little confident, but mulcahy wouldn’t be a bad add at all
Apparently taking some more classes/credits and then in early July will reclassify if all goes as expected. The plan all along was to add some vets to Burks/Hart/Somto, so this won't affect that. Not saying they are coming but this isn't going to be a factor either way in how that plays out.
As for Mulcahy, I get what he isn't but what Kentucky needs, he's about as perfect of a fit as you can ask for.
Do you think Mulcahy is a real possibility? Would be nice to add someone who has played decent mins in college BB. Also do you think we go after Edwards?

I'll defer to others who have news on Edwards, I don't have anything on him other than liking him a great deal as a player. I'm still on cloud 9 that Cal/Antigua were on Jalil Bethea the '24 guy my friend has talked up to me since last December. lol
I do think Mulcahy is a possibility. The usual suspects were crapping all over UK's chances when he first got in Portal with "Big Ten lock" then it comes out that UK, Gonzaga, Washington and ND are the teams deeply involved.

Ugh...NO. Huggins has been fortunate he's not killed someone or himself with his habits. This wasn't anything new. He's been this way dating back to when he started coaching. He needs to fix himself and not worry about basketball.

While I agree with you, we did hire Rod Strickland and BCG and both had at least one, maybe two DUI's on their record.
I think they have their coach, just hasn’t been announced. Maybe couple more weeks. Can’t say for sure, but I have heard it’s done. And no, I don’t know who it is, just heard it’s good to go, just waiting to announce.
