They are probably sick of spending 1,000 hours a week stuck with each other and nobody else. I asked a guy who owned a small business once why his wife only worked four hours a day with him, instead of 8 since he needed more help. They both looked at me like I was nuts. They said they wanted to stay married lol.

I’m sure they knew before the tourney. Myles said he applied to other schools. He had to enter the portal to go look at them. It was a foregone conclusion. The way it’s worded sounds like he’s moving on but the text isn’t related.

I work with a law firm that has 75% of revenue come from divorces.... said 2020 was insane and they have never seen it like this

A lot of people choose partners they ultimately don’t like spending time with. When they have no choice for a whole year, it’s not surprising

A lot of this reminds me of the drama on Facebook too...like the attention-seeking person who posts “emergency room” and then disappears while friends frantically try to find out what’s going on...lol. Then again, I guess we’re all guilty too by reading players’ tweets and posting guesses here. All the drama has really put a damper on our first bid in 30 years. Sometimes I long for the old days when we knew less and enjoyed things more.

I would think if he’s talking about Geo, then you can assume from this that Geo is gone too

I actually thought just the opposite which, believe me, wouldn’t be good either and would leave Pike with his hands full with tension management.

The timing seems to me like he could be implying that Geo’s sudden “attitude” shift on the topic of returning is not about Geo wanting to play another year for RU and is more aligned with his own interests and positioning as the NIL leader.

Maybe he made the mistake of coming on this message board and he's talking about the muted and negative response from the fanbase for their historic achievement.

My guess is that this has everything to do with the game and he is / was frustrated that he did not get court time during the 'collapse' - even after CM fouled out and Pike brought Tez in (presumably for defense). Right or wrong, I can understand why PM would be frustrated - guy certainly plays hard, has sacrificed his body, fills whatever gaps Pike asks of him (within his skillset), and brings a toughness and attitude we probable could have used at the end of the game. Instead, "after all that" he sat and watched "THAT".

The Tuesday quotes certainly could be more about some internal strife.

How about - to simply get a semblance of their normal lives back????

Choose not to get the vaccine and for the foreseeable future (until community spread goes down) you still have to quarantine for 10 days every time you find out that you spent 15 minutes or more within 6 feet of a Covid positive. That alone is surely incentive enough for many people. The quarantine rules are extremely distruptive on our lives and they are not going to be changed without herd immunity whether you agree with the merits or not. If you have young kids (who can’t get the vaccine any time soon), resumption of normalcy is unfortunately a function other people’s decisions regarding the vaccine.

The first 2 tweets for sure. The one posted a day later about people not being genuine? Not likely.

This could be it. It also could be something else and that wouldn’t change the fact that what you presented here still probably occured. And over the course of the season a lot of guys had similar feelings

I would advise the handwringers to take a break
