Few games in a row. Pike feeling that he’s keeping things under control and making the team better during that time. His basketball IQ is unlike anything we’ve had in a while. Two out of three dentists prefer his court savvy. This team Has been an unselfish joy. I can’t for the life of me understand why there’s any negativity with this season

Agreed. Pike trusts the ball in his hands when it matters most. He’s starting to look like the complete ball player lately.

Pike has no option when Young is out of control
I think late season Mathis has been more of a danger.. even Geo at times (but he is too useful in other ways.. irreplaceable).

I think everyone has shown clumsiness at time to time.. but PM is on a 2 game roll of mostly doing great... after a rough run of, say, 3 games.

Young, at times, is irreplaceable. He and Mathis are an interesting pair.. Mathis plays a smothering D that shuts down passing lane... Young plays a probing D that can cause.. chaos. In pushing the ball in transition 1 on 2 or more.. young is much more likely to be successful... imo.

I also worked on the Trident Brand...so I know it is 4 out of 5 like Paul's play :)

And deservedly so. Playing with confidence. Shooting more. Poised. Confident with the ball.

To the naysayers: Please lay off freshmen as they need time to acclimate themselves and when you hear analysts on tv raving about him trust their judgment.

He might be getting passed the Freshman wall, too. Smart, tough kid... just the way Pike likes ‘em.

I can’t help but think PM reminds Pike of himself....
