Paul Mulcahy tells Prep Circuit he has committed to Rutgers - The Scarlet Knights commit talks about his decision
“It’s probably not going to hit me until I’m actually playing, but I’m really excited about it,” he said. “Kids in other states grow up and want to go to their state schools. I don’t see a reason why a kid from New Jersey can’t stay and do really well in state. I’m excited about it.”

LOVING THE BUILD! I think we endure one more tough season... this one coming up... after that, it's on!!!!
I saw Paul play about 6-8 times over the last 2 years and he is really good. I am so happy that he put his faith in RU and am so thankful for Coach Pikiell and our entire staff.
This season doesn't have to be a tough one if we add a grad transfer point guard that can play a little bit. If not then yes, probably under .500.
I am so happy for Coach and for us fans. What an outstanding person Mulcahy is and much kudos to Geo. Love this kid also. He's all about doing what's right for Rutgers and is as classy as a person and ambassador as can be. Go RU!!!!

The battle for guard minutes is gonna be real interesting next year. Pike is gonna have to manage some expectations and make sure chemistry stays a positive. With McConnell, Young, and Mulcahy competing for minutes, 1 or 2 guys are gonna be disappointed. I think Baker and Mathis are the ones whose minutes will be most secure. Don't know where Kiss factors in at all really. I'll be intrigued to watch it shake out.
Probably see a lot of minutes added at the SF spot as many of these players are interchangeable. Geo, Montez, Paul, Caleb, Kiss all can play the three if needed also.
Yes but...a senior Thiam and sophomore Harper (who I am sky high on the potential of) are going to warrant basically all of the minutes at the 3. Good problem to have and one Rutgers fans aren't used to seeing, but it is a definite obstacle for any coach as you have to watch out that nobody is sulking about their role too much.
