Big Blue Nation we so much need your prayers. A great lady right there in Lexington is in a fight for her life. Her name is Patricia Harris. Two years ago she was in a life and death struggle and I came on here and asked for everyone's prayers. Literally over night she made a miraculous recovery. Just this past Thursday she was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. She is having a procedure done tomorrow called a Lumbar Puncture. The results of the test will determine if the cancer has spread to her Central Nervous System and her Brain. Everyone please lift Patricia up in prayer and pray that the test results are negative. I know the power of prayer and the power of The Big Blue Nation. When you put the 2 of them together, it is one of the most powerful forces on this earth. Thank you everyone now for you positive thoughts and prayers. We are claiming VICTORY NOW that Patricia will be healed, and it is in God's name that we pray, AMEN !!

This wonderful lady is my sister in law. Truly one of the most loving, caring, spiritual ladies I have ever known. I would ask that the Lord give her and her entire family deep wells of his divine strength to help her through the days, weeks and months ahead. God Bless Tricia Harris

Prayers to you and yours my friend. I'm a testament to the power of prayer. I have escaped death twice in my life because I know God hasn't finished with me yet. I'm blessed to be here still and doing gods will. He has a plan for Patricia as well she's in good hands. Keep the faith, she will be fine. I know I make a lot of jokes on here but I don't joke when it comes to my beliefs and my faith. I was reborn September 22nd 2013 and it's by far the best decision I ever made in my life. Timothy 2:4 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. This is my favorite bible verse and words I encourage everyone to live by.

As much as I love BBN, when the question of BBN+Jesus comes up I gotta be extra clear: the only power Patricia or anyone ever needs is Jesus alone.

But I will gladly pray for Patricia, brother.
I agree with you, brother, but never underestimate the power of Christians unified in prayer in the name of Jesus. John 14:12 says, "Very true I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father." (NIV) I am a living testament to His power. Prayers for Ms. Harris are sent...

I'll share this since I'm in the mood to do so. At 16 I was very sick doctors didn't know what was wrong but I couldn't breathe they thought pneumonia. For 3 weeks they beat on my back trying to break it up and nothing worked. I was on the church prayer list along with two others. A girl younger than me with cancer and a guy a few years older with cancer both were the other two in really bad shape like me.
then, they found out what was wrong with me. I had a massive blood clot in my pulmonary artery which could of broke up anytime and headed straight for my heart and killed me. God intervened. As I got worse the other two got better and all I could think of was why me? Then it really hit hard. They say bad things happen in 3s. First the kid who was 21 died from cancer. Then the girl a few months later who was younger than me lost her battle as well. I was crushed and knew I was next.

The doctors gave me a constant heparin drip and used experimental drugs on me because of how rare my condition was. Eventually the clot broke down small enough to send me home but it wasn't over. 16-24 I was in and out of the hospital for constant clots.

At 24 I flew to California to have the clot removed which was a rare surgery at the time. They cut open my chest and pulled the clot out but it wasn't over. I developed a staph infection and reached 104 degree temperatures. What was supposed to be a 2 week stay turned out to be two months and when I flew home they hospitalized me again.

After they finally got my body working right again, I was on warfarin a blood thinner I have to take the rest of my life. From 24-34 I've been in and out of the hospital for brief stints. That all changed again October 14 2015

Once again God intervened. I don't remember it happening but I had massive stomach problems. I was in pain and blacked out so I don't remember much. I'm told that I called my brother at work and told him I needed to go to the hospital and my family knows if I say that something is seriously wrong. I refuse to go if I can. They did a cat scan and found blood clots in my stomach. They didn't reach my upper body because in California they put in an IVC filter(which hasn't failed me as you have seen on tv there are law suits now about them) they think it was clogged and warfarin failed me.

They did 2 emergency surgeries in 8 days and kept me sedated the whole time. They took out 6.5 inches of dead intestine and now I have another massive scar to match my chest, but I'm alive. I have recovered fully but have permanent damage that you would never know about unless you saw the scars. I walk two miles everyday now and have lost 45 pounds. I now have to do injections into my stomach every day till medicine continues to develop. As I said earlier I am blessed.

I wouldn't of shared this but if I can help inspire someone else or give hope to others then I'm all for it. If the worst thing I gotta do is give myself shots then in pretty damn well off. For the longest time I was mad as hell because nobody in my family parents, siblings, etc have anything like that happen to them and I thank god they haven't had to endure what I did. The day I have kids I pray they have no health issues either because it was a fluke that it happened to me.

I know this was really long but if you made it this far thank you for reading and count your blessings because it could always be worse. I'm living proof there is a God and he has a plan for us all and nothing will ever change my opinion. God bless guys

Your testimony really resonates with people who go down a similar life/death path. The Good Book tells us to comfort others with the comfort we've received. That's one of your ministries. Thanks for the encouraging words!

OP, if you would keep us updated - and, I'd like permission to ask my church to add her to our prayer list, as well.
That would be so wonderful if you would do that. I will pass it on to her at once. Thanks so much more caring. God Bless you and yours !!
