For those interested we have a golfer in the Curtis Cup which is Team USA vs. Team Britain / Ireland. It's 8 US girls against 8 girls from Britain and Ireland, all match play through the weekend. These are some of the top amateur players in the world. Avery Weed will be a senior at State next year and is on Team USA, should be starting Foursome right now. Team USA won the first round 2-1. A lot of it is televised on the Golf Channel and streaming on the Golf Channel app.

Avery made the last putt to win the last match for Team USA. We’re up 4-2
Cool, thanks for this. I watched it a good bit when Ally McDonald played in it years ago.
That O’Keefe chick with whom Weed was paired is pretty damn good.
Yes she’s very good, currently #3 ranked amateur in the world. Made the cut at the US Open last weekend
Avery and Farah won their match tonight but singles tomorrow will be tough. The matchups will matter a lot
These are the singles matchups for the final round today
I checked and Avery is 30th in the world amateur rankings and her opponent is 38th. Good match.
