yeah some of his shots have been prayers just odd shooting motion and just throwing it up. don't know if he is intimidated by the Nova shooters or what. need to get molinar a few more outside looks. have to drive the ball. have to get back and watch the back door. We are good, Villanova is really good. Jay Wright may be the best coach in college basketball right now. Just want to see us keep hanging tough and if we come up short so be it. Not really disappointed with our play so far, though.

Feazell has no business being on the floor. That’s our biggest weakness.

This is a game where Nick would be a tremendous asset...we would go small and fast.

On a bigger note, I hope these Tutor gate kids really take in note how bad they have 17ed our athletic program up for 18, 19 and 20 seasons. And we will be on probation into 21-22. Probably gonna cost us this game.

Across basketball and football, how many games has that stunt cost us? 6 winnable bball games....4 football games?....counting the ole miss loss?

There was a chance for that to get out of hand. It was good to see us fight back. That last play was ridiculous, but at least it won't be played before and during every NCAA tournament.

This is what Villanova does with Gillespie, though. They attack the rim off pick and roll and our guys can't get there. They're taking advantage of our youth there. The adjustment is to go under the screen with our guard.

So their youth is taking advantage of our youth. Makes since. They recruit and coach on a different level !

They don’t give a rat’s *** about football, but they take basketball as seriously as we take baseball.

yeah, i like what howland has built with the youth of this team being the better part. we are going in the right direction for sure. i don't think we will have a trouble with a crowd in the hump once sec starts. they are fun to watch and play hard with a lot of effort and they are good. Nova is a good team and we have spurts where we are hanging really close. i think we will only get better as the season goes on as long as Nick comes in and plays as apart of the team and doesn't try to one man show anything. I like our team chemistry right now.

^^THIS. Plenty of chances to lay down or let it get away with poor shot selection. But instead we kept fighting.

Their fans lost their basketball IQ mid 2H. The comments stopped being "oh good pass, aren't we (nova) great" to wanting a foul called on us for dribbling.

They had a 16-0 run and hit a three at the buzzer in the first half. To only lose by 7 after that shows that we didn't quit. A 7-point loss to Nova on a neutral court will not hurt you. It would have been a great win for the resume, but we showed we can compete with really good teams. Really looking forward to N Weatherspoon's return.
