Michigan State is not running any sort of offense. They look even worse than they did at Purdue.

Maybe heresy but... are we SURE Michigan State is good?

Only one good win in the OOC (at SHU)... lost to Duke, lost to Kentucky, lost to Virginia Tech, one at home and two neutrals. Only road win in the Big Ten is by 5 at Northwestern.

They threw a B1G standings graphic up that had us at 15-4.... maybe they only watched the first half of our game with Iowa?

I've seen 2 backcourts not called because theres no line at half court all the way across the court. Isnt the halfcourt line reqd by rule?

Whats better for us? I'd think an MSU win? We prob won't pass them and Indiana would tie us in the Standings with a W.

MSU is good, but they started their B1G slate with 4 of their first 5 at home, with the only road game being at NW. So they jumped out to a 5-0 start in the conference before getting crushed at Purdue.

So far at least, it seems like our win against Indy is looking even better as this game goes on. Home court is beyond huge in this league.

How can someone as chill as Cacius Winston be such a good basketball player?

Even though we played both IU and MSU once. You want the teams you defeated to have solid years so that the wins look better at the end of the year. So good results for Rutgers tonight.

Totally different IU team at home vs. what we saw, thankfully. Or MSU isn't the same team we saw at their place, lol. Makes our win over IU look a little better. Could the B1G get 9 teams in, but nobody better than a 3 seed?

Not watching game but followed end on game tracker

It said Tillman missed game typing layup with 3 seconds left.

Similar to Young last night?

Bart (and soon kenpom) will have RU only a few spots from top team in B1G. MSU will be ahead by 2-4 spots and that’s it

Also, if we had won last night, we'd be in a 3-way tie for first in the B1G. Damn.

Maybe even worse, lol, since he's way taller - just missed an uncontested bunny, although he was in the air when he caught the miss and he probably had time to land and go back up and dunk.

Top25oids may be upset at this result. Wouldn’t this put IU over RU to a pollster?

Would be a big jump from 41st in the AP to the Top 25, I'd think - plus, they just lost to us last week. Anything's possible, I guess. Should definitely get them inside the Top 30 though.

I wasn't sure who I wanted tonight to win this game. The BIG is so tough every night. First we must take care of business on Saturday against Nebraska. we need to get to 6-3. One at a time.

Re: the line - I looked at my yahoo sports app right before I posted that and it said IU -1.5. Seems strange that it would update in real time, but maybe it does that.

Good win for the Hoosiers. Man, this conference is insane this year.

Ohio State and Michigan State both loss games because their best players Wesson and Winston played poorly.Michigan State allowed Indiana a big first half lead and it took the rest of the game to catch up.Ohio State doesn't impress me as compared to Illinois and Iowa that have inside./outside scoring threats.
With the parity in the B1G it will be a challenge for teams to stay in the top 8 positions and have more than 11 league wins.

What’s a sharp?
How do you know this?

There are sites out there that will show what % of betters are on MSU vs. Indiana.

So if 65% of the betters are on MSU and 35% are on IU gambling lingo would say the general public (aka the "squares") are on MSU and the "sharps" are on IU.
