Looks like some freshmen are adjusting just fine
Bryce Chance from MRA has been a hitting machine so far 3-3 in Game 1 and 3-4 Game 2, Slate Alford another freshman has looked good, hit HR in first game
Another freshman Higgins hit a bomb in game 2 then we had a Yeager bomb from the transfer.
Anyone else have any thoughts from the game?

Game one, black kicked maroons *** like they were from Nashville or something. Attendance was sparse. Nobody checked my cooler. Bulldog Burger has the best tater tots in the entire civilized world. The maroon numbers on the outfield fence need attention, we've got maroon, a crimson red shade of maroon, and a faded pink shade of maroon. We can do better. Don't read a lot into the pitching stats for game one. If it was between the batters boxes and didn't bounce, he called it a strike. The music between innings was coming from someone's Bluetooth speaker, it was weak. Hitting is ahead of pitching at this point. The scoreboard said Black vs Maroon, the Hailstate app said Team Cheese vs Team Goat, it was confusing. Anything else you want to know?

Glad to see we've got an MRA kid. Daughter went there K thru 9. I think they've had some really good baseball teams lately.

Are the pitchers primarily throwing just fastballs and change ups? That was the case 3 weeks ago

It's like Spring training for football, really not much to see. I think if they thought there was any interest, the 5 game series wouldn't be played on weekdays at 2 or 3 o'clock.
