One of those where it looked from one angle he was safe because the throw came in a little high, but the later view from the infield side looked to me like the tag got there just before the runner touched the plate. In any case, it was freeze-frame close, so why no review?

They challenged the ruling of fair ball. It was close but pretty obviously fair.

Not sure how you can predict that Ginn would get hurt and Smith would perform so poorly. Really Small is the only truly dependable pitcher we have right now.

Every team we play from here on out should fine their pitchers $50 for every strike they throw magnum. He’s giving every at bat away by chasing pitches out of the zone.

Just shocking to me that he is just as bad about that as a SR as he was as a FR. He is a very good hitter but could be even better with just a little plate discipline.
