A home-and-home arrangement with the Dayton Flyers (Northwestern did)? Or we play Michigan State in Ann Arbor. Or Kennesaw State visits the RAC next season.

scheduling is not a strategic strong point for Pike!!!
Kennesaw ST and Michigan St scheduling could cost us a tournament bid not the first season it’s been a problem.
Right??
Whole week off this week you could have did the Kennesaw game?
I keep looking at our basketball schedule this year and wonder what were we thinking? Where was our AD? Why are we not complaining to the B1G?
1. Five away games in a row is unheard of for a power conference? Who does that?
2. We are playing MSU in the Garden. So from Jan 14 to Feb 1. No home games. More than half the month of January and no home basketball games?
3. From Feb 13 to March 8 we have one home game?
4. B1G knew this was the most anticipated Rutgers Season maybe ever! So what do we get, 4 of our last 6 games are on the road.
Nutty.

Still can’t believe we ever scheduled Kennesaw St at their place. Zero upside to that game
The reason was to allow Bailey to play in front of family and friends before leaving for the NBA.Rutgers real problem is that they have great difficulty winning on the road against league and out of conference opponents.Rutgers was unprepared to play in the first half of the Kennesaw State game which is a coaching problem more so than scheduling.

I've been thinking about that game.

I haven't seen anyone mention this.
That game likely wasn't just a "circle the date" situation like other lower level teams.

Those players probably have to hear about "Ace" 24/7 their entire lives. How great he is. He's going to the NBA. Putting their area on the map.
How many times did one of those guys have a great game in HS just to hear "Oh sure thats nice. Did you see what Ace did though?"

I wouldn't doubt some guys were fired up "I'm better than Davis. He's just friends with Ace so he got a Rutgers offer. I should have that spot."

check your emails for presale info

Rutgers men's basketball season ticket holders and corporate partners will have exclusive access to a presale beginning on Tuesday, Dec. 3 to Monday, Dec. 9 at 11:59 pm. On Tuesday, Dec. 10, tickets will go live through a Ticketmaster MSG presale. On Wednesday, Dec. 11 tickets will be available on Ticketmaster for the public.

haha those prices for those first few rows!

presale is to December 9 and will be allocated by priority point order not first come first serve

What's going to be cheaper for the cheap seats, presale or waiting and getting in Seatgeek? Presale is $27 for the 400 section. I'll bring my family if it can pull it off at a reasonable price.

Just put in for 6 - hope I get the "200 lower rows" and not "300 sideline"... odd way to break up the pricing.

Those prices are def way higher than a couple years ago. I want to say double for 100 corners. Sigh

This event is controlled by Ticket Master so not sure what will be available on SeatGeek.

I wouldn’t be shocked if this game approaches a sell out.

I would hop on $27 tickets.

I guess it's a bit of a gamble. If the team does well between now and then $27 will be a bargain. If it's all dark clouds I won't even want to go myself LOL.
