MS vs Marist MS 35-33 FINAL

Has to be by design. No reason that scoreboard can not be raised into the air so opposing teams and fans can see. Between the scoreboard and the one way Marist announcers who only announce home teams kids……. Don’t get me started on the two tool security guys at the main entrance parking lot.
Someone from Marist had to know of technical difficulties. Why they can’t have the camera zoom in on scoreboard every chance they get is beyond comprehension.
No one ever said that. I said hostile environment which surprisingly it really wasn’t that crowded. Hater hate but don’t make it more than what I or anyone else said.
I was there. Marist had the better talent but you can't settle for 3 twice like that inside the 10. Didn't like the 2 point play call either. I thought Maine S had phenomenal play calling
The IHSA school streaming program teaches young athletes and students that it's not all about those on the field. It is about the entire activity experience. Empty end zones, traffic outside of stadium, 3 or more birds flying by the field, etc. are all things that lead to a wholistic and wholesome family experience. Plus, the audio stream is cleverly included to keep you up-to-date through crowd noise and announcer commentary that something is happening elsewhere on the field.
That's funny, cause it's true! The auto camera misses alot of the big plays that happen downfield. Ya know, the plays that are the most fun to watch.
Inside the 5 actually twice and settle for 6 pts in total. The first time we got too cute and got away from what was working. On the second time give MS credit for not giving up and bringing down our receiver inside the 10 on the long pass play. I did not have a good view of the 2 pt PAT. Tough loss and for the first time since 2013 I will not have a dog in the fight in the odd years at NIU. Marist in 15 and LWE in 17 and 19 Congrats to MS they were tough and Marist could not put them away. And MS could not put the RedHawks away either up 14. 0 but of course you can never put someone away in the 1Q. Great game with incredible talent but bad ending
After that long pass to open 2nd half u have to capitalize and put boot on the neck. To have Marist settle for 3 .like that was a huge victory for Maine S
Ditto - gave maine some momentum - heck we both texted in agreement Dawczak might have let maine back and sure enough - maine took over.
Many of us mentioned we were surprised, (4th week in a row) at our opponents support, or lack thereof)

These boys work their butts off and that’s the best the community can do… REALLY?
When we played West Aurora in 2016… that was by far the most impressive fan experience I’ve had in Illinois as the people were out in force, band was on, students were loud.
It felt like the old days. full stands revved up both sides….. Let’s get it on!!!
PN, NV, Marist. At least you out drew New Trier in the first round.
Couldn’t agree more. Beautiful day. College kids coming home. It was a good crowd for those who weren’t there but not a sellout which was surprising.
