One of these years, I'll learn not to second guess an Inserra-coached team in November. Bolingbrook was a hot pick last week and I took the bait. MS should win this one easily - his teams seem to always being peaking at the right time.

South Elgin isn't as good as last year. I think South Elgin's defense can slow down swagger. Not sure I see them scoring much though.

Don't understand why the Upstate 8 won't split the conference into 2 divisions like the Mid Suburban. South Elgin will go 9-0 again next year and there season wont start til week 10.

Need 2 more so that there is less chance of home and home conferences rematches like in the DVC. The U8+the FVC should look into 4 D of 5 or 5 D of 4 scheduling arrangement.

I’ll admit, I saw Maine South struggle with New Trier in week 9 and thought it would be an early playoff exit. But they seem to have found another gear in the playoffs. I’d love to see a rematch between Glenbrook South and Maine South with a trip to the semis on the line. We will see if GBS can pull the upset today to make it happen.
