So if the GOP members were willing to question Kavanaugh, why were they unwilling to question Ford? If they were going to bring in a prosecutor with extensive experience in with these sorts of cases, why not let that person question the accused as well as the accuser? I've only seen bits and pieces of the Kavanaugh testimony so far, so if I missed Mitchell questioning Kavanaugh, I apologize.

She did a little bit. Maybe one five minute cycle plus part of another. When she began questioning Kavanaugh about his calendar entries, they quickly cut her off.

After Durbin absolutely destroyed Kavenaugh, the only hope was to turn it into a political offensive attack in their defense of their nominee and to make Trump happy. What was interesting and watch there will be hints of a conspiracy from the left, Graham went on an attack like he was given orders and twice he looked down at his notes for keywords. One was "sham" which is the word Trump and others in the WH have used today.

Only ting I agree with. The process is a sham.

Like Bru said, she started questioning Kavanaugh and after Durbin destroyed Kavanaugh with his straight forward question of “would you welcome an investigation by the FBI,” Lindsey Graham went on his tirade and meltdown and they immediately abandoned the plan to have Ms. Mitchell question him. The remaining Republican Senators questioned Kavanaugh themselves.

If Kav can force an FBI investigation, can he also force the Dem's to give up the name who outed the Dr. out? He is being nominated for the SC, he does not have the power to tell who should investigate anything, Correct?

The ones that looked like complete buffoons were Feinstein,Durbin and Blumenthal. Kavanaugh may not be confirmed......but.....he was in total control today. Feinstein looked totally disorientated and confused during the questioning of Kavanaugh.

Are you really this stupid? He has been accused of being an angry drunk, among other things, and he started off his testimony with a collosal meltdown. He was totally unhinged.

LMAO!

When Blumenthal said that if you tell a lie one can assume everything ypu said is a lie...I admit I thought he was baiting Brett into a vietnam reference.
