Ever shoot a gun ?

I don’t know that answer but,
Why would anyone want a suppressor /Silencer ?
Just wondering..

I have a SBR ( short barrel rifle) AR. If I were to ever have to use it for home defense in the middle of the night without a suppressor I would never hear my grandkids again.
