I contend that I will uphold my end of the bargain here. While my bitching is far from pointless, it's my pledge to aim to do less of it.

should any heightened bitching take place over the next two weeks, I am presenting this for context:

Hey, I know you know I've more than expressed my frustrations over the last few weeks. I keep saying, "we suck" so that's not exactly constructive criticism. I share everyone's concerns over Rhule's coaching. He flat out lost us at least 2 games last year by his end of game coaching alone. I'll respond to your pledge by saying I'm done bitching about bitching. It's just as pointless as what I'm complaining about. I'll just repeat what I said earlier, I want to win NOW, not in 4-5 years.

If you can't stand the process then just check out until Rhule's contract is over. Hopefully, we will turn the corner soon. I'm not going to sweat yesrs one and two. I’ve seen plenty of people trying it up and go to OT. But not in the fashion that Nebraska did last year in the Wisconsin game. Go back and watch that final drive again. Our offense was in a groove and driving the ball with plenty of time left and Rhule suddenly slams on the brakes and plays for a tie. That is something I don’t recall seeing before.

Our fan base is made of fanatics that experienced arguably the greatest coach of all time, a coach that was his team's top recruiter, while being known in coaching circles as the best play-caller and offensive coordinator in the entire sport, working 18 hour days, while carrying himself with obsessive dignity and representing the program and state in literally a perfect manner. To the point that he supported players who hurt his legacy and reputation because it was the right thing to do. On top of this he built the greatest team in the history of the sport and one of the greatest dynasties, all the while using Nebraska kids as the core of his team.

Now we have a coach who is making 65 million guaranteed, nearly 80 million over 8 years who hired his best friends or friends kids, despite clear analytical data that they are some of the poorest coaches in the nation..this 80 million dollar coach doesn't have a position of specialty, is not a play-caller, doesn't take over any unit and make it better, and when his terrible hires are exposed he spends more of the fan's money to bring in another coach mid-season, while still taking his 65 million with no qualms or apparent awareness of how worthless he is in his position. He should quit, give back the money and take time off, saying he wasn't ready to come back to coaching and he obviously can't do the job Nebraskans deserve. This is why people are cynical and angry...experience a supernova in Tom Osborne in the 70s-90s, and then getting the exact opposite for the last decade of just pure scammers, and worse.

That usually starts with a phone call at about midnight. Damn that makes for a bad night. Last time I got that call people thought they were mine so I ended up having to help round up what I could of the neighbor’s cows and locking them in my place til daylight. I was fixing fence until about 3 am to try to keep them off the road. They were spread out over 6 sections of land. Moron never fixes fence and is a drunk so it won't be the last time he leaves a gate open.

We sucked last year, he publicly called our offense pathetic and yet he made very few changes. He brought in a true freshman who had no competition, a handful of average big bodied wrs, and a cast off from Oregon. We all know he is mostly words, and were hoping that would be enough to trick players to come to Nebraska, and trick good coaches to not leave, and maybe keep the team together during tough times. There is a place for a preacher but he doesn't seem to actually know how to problem solve the problems on his team. A team that is actually good enough to have 8 or 9 wins right now if the coaching was decent.
