MPC Playoff Spots

East Lincoln scores on a middle screen for a big TD. Missed extra point, 22-14 EL with 4:31 in the 3rd
EL strips the ball after a catch. Trying to run out the clock now. 6 mins left
Observations:
WH QB was good. I can see why they were high on him, he's a good athlete. He had a ton of dropped passes by his receivers and got himself out of trouble a few times under tremendous pressure. The big boy wr #12 was pretty good too. They had size in a few spots.
North was much faster than WH. Team speed, tempo, playcalling, everything. Boys were on it from jump and continued to play their best at the right time of the season.
East Lincoln is a good program, I don't think Oak Grove needs to hang their head. OG won't enjoy losing in round 1, especially the midway people, but OG has built a good program themselves in a short time. They're missing that one player who is the x factor for a deep run, but they play well as a team and generally are more than the sum of their parts. Good season, grizz.
How about Ledford? They exact revenge on Central and get a playoff win to bolster their season which ended on a down note in conference. Next up? The Dboyz from Dudley...

OG is missing a few exceptional athletes to be able to compete on the 3a. They simply don't have enough athletes or team speed. Nothing wrong with that. Just the area they're in.

Casilac (sp?) - he was their work horse back - but in their system it’s kinda plug and play, next man up - don’t get me wrong, he is a difference maker but their system is about grinding yardage and eating clock
Both Central (Casilac) and Ledford (Finley) were without possibly their best overall players.
Agree with the overall assessment - but with 5 OG turnovers (counting the punt block scoop and score) it’s hard for any team to win.
Hey bro do you know if Ledford will have their star back next week? Who does North get next week. Think imma check them out
ND will play Hickory at home. Ledford will play at Dudley - no, Finley is out for the year - non-contact ACL/MCL on a change of direction tackle attempt vs OG. Huge loss - great player and seems like a great guy! Hope he’ll still get a shot at the next level.
I’ll probably head to the ND game - the QB at Hickory is related to my wife.
