Saw 1917 the other day. It's fantastic. The way they do extended shots without cuts is pretty sensational.

Also saw Booksmart on Hulu recently and laughed my *** off.

Ford v Ferrari was lots of fun.

I've heard that Justice League XXX was pretty good but I missed it.

That one was good for about

I've heard that Justice League XXX was pretty good but I missed it.

10 or 15 minutes, then you suddenly get bored with the plot.

Seriously though, I’d recommend Knives Out when it’s available but I don’t think it will be until late February. Great movie.

1917. Best war movie since Dunkirk. A technical achievement with practical effects and sets, brilliant cinematography.

The Highwaymen on Netflix. It's basically Bonnie and Clyde from Frank Hamer's perspective. Kevin Costner and Woody Harrelson star I it.

Was thinking about renting the latest Terminator movie. Anyone like it? Thought it might be cool given Linda Hamilton was back in it.

Just Mercy!! Make you rethink criminal justice in the south and the death penalty if a supporter as I was. Sheriff and DA should have went to jail IMHO.

1917 is phenomenal. If it doesn't win movie of the year the fix is in.

I didn't down vote you and haven't seen 1917, but I feel the same way about Joker. Walking out I thought Phoenix should win best actor and it should win best picture. But it won't. They don't award comic book movies best picture. Maybe 1917 is better and I can't say, but Joker was phenomenal. Admittedly though, it isn't for everybody. It is a very dark movie.

Someone else mentioned Dunkirk. It's fantastic as well. Saw that on IMAX and bout it in 4k the day it came out.

The Gentlemen. Great show with a great cast. I wasn't sure about 20 minutes in but it took a while to get into the plot. It was excellent and very entertaining. The plot great and the character development is really good. Colin Ferrel's character was outstanding. Matthew McConaughey was outstanding as was Hugh Grant.

Dunkirk is a nice bookend to 1917. They both play with the passage of time very skillfully. Also they’re very British

I will throw in MIDWAY, the remake that came out at the end of the year (2019). Very well done.

I know you asked for movies but I wanna list the series Chernobyl on HBO again. Best mini-series I've seen since True Detective season 1.

I just got done watching it. Pissed me off, and you're right, they should have. Good movie

Richard Jewel was surprisingly good. Easily one of the best movies of the year. Kathy Bates was phenomenal.

6 Underground was just okay. It had a different plot. Not bad, but different. Camera style and action scenes were kind of hard for me to get used to. Acting was very meh.

1917 vs. Dunkirk vs Midway Who you got?

1917. Best war movie since Dunkirk. A technical achievement with practical effects and sets, brilliant cinematography.

I have not seen Midway yet and hate that i missed it in theaters....i keep looking for it on DTV rental....

I loved both 1917, and Dunkirk.......i would have to give Dunkirk a slight edge head to head..... as much as I loved 1917, at the end of it, i felt i wanted more....like i couldn't believe it was over....maybe it was just that good....but i love these dramatic WWI and WWII movies...

Once Upon a Time In Hollywood

Must see.

Just saw The Gentlemen last night. Very different. If you like Guy Ritchie movies, this will fit-the-bill. Wife & I enjoyed. Excellent acting across the board and very clever writing.

Agree about 1917...great movie.

If I had to pick just one, OUATIH is it for me.

ETA - Prior to going to see this, make sure you have knowledge of the Manson murders (Tate-Labianca).

I have seen all 3. It would be Midway, Dunkirk, and 1917.

I am about as far from a “snowflake” as you can be and exactly how I felt. Sad and angry!

Hollywood was 17in awesome!! I am generally not very excited about Tarantino movies but this one was just an entertaining movie for me. LDC’s casual dislike for hippies was awesome and Pitt’s character was borderline super hero.

I sort of want someone to drive a loud pos car down my street so i can go yell at them.

Just tried it on Netflix. Truly awful movie. Pissed at myself for wasting the hour I put into it before accepting it was not going to get better.

Knives Out is really well done. Well written and the cast seems like they’re having a really good time
