Unfortunately that was also the case when they played Wilmo. I was hoping it was just game 1 and being juiced up, but maybe they just have some hot heads.

The whole team lack of discipline rests solely on Thorson! This type of stuff did not happen under DD or George! But for Morris I saw Sycamore tonight and thy had a rough go against a down Ottawa team the 35-7 was closer than that score would suggest . I’d say that if they can somehow clan up the BS they will win outright conference without problem. If they don’t well they’re only to blame!
Absolutely agree. No reason other than coaching that personal fouls and unsportsmanlike penalties should still be happening in week 5.
Game was 28-0 at one point and then in the 2nd half every time Morris had a big play there was an obvious penalty.
They should win their conference no matter what. I doubt that Rochelle or Sycamore offers much resistance this year. However, if they don't clean up the after the whistle stuff it will cost them down the road.
Is it a pretty good chance of 4A for Morris? Sorry, I haven’t dug into it yet.
After all the shuffling with enrollments this year they're fairly firmly in 4A unless sheet gets weird.
Morris seems like definitely 4A. Montini is likely 4A.
I'm glad to see Morris do well as a Morris resident and a Wilmo alum. I like that Wilmo has given them their best game thus far. But please - stop with all the BS after the whistle stuff. You guys are good but not good enough to overcome that against Rochester or Montini.
Agreed Doctor_D. I'm surprised there wasn't an ejection or 2 for the hits and taunts after the whistle. It's silly and unnecessary and hurts your own team
Don't see it holding up, but at this moment Montini is smallest school in 5A. They'll likely be favorite in 4A unless the second half of the season goes unexpectedly.
Obvious penalties, but I didn't see anything close to ejection worthy. Stupid, undisciplined nonsense yes, but nothing worth an ejection.
Yes agreed, I just thought there was something about repeat offenders. I could also have made that up in my head. Either way, Morris is a tough hard nosed football team as always.
Pretty sure 2 unsportsmanlike's is an ejection, but I only remember seeing one of those. Too many personal fouls and holdings was the biggest issue.
