Morris 39 - SHG 36. FINAL

[FB1976]

Nm

[FB1976]

Morris seems a little rattled at SHG defense.

[Kevin JCHS 81]

is it being streamed?

[cigaros]

Morris is not looking like the #13 team in the state.

NfHS...good luck

Or like a team that Rochester should be happy is out of 4A

The NFHS stream has okay video, but the audio needs some adjustment. Sounds like they have a mic next to an AM radio.

Morris 14, SHG 16 with 4:23 to go in the first half.

Exactly right. Video has been good but audio needs a filter or 3. Announcers sound like the swallowed the mic before the game.

[FB1976]

Morris makes a charge at the end of the half, but can't get in the end zone. Kick good. 17-16 Morris at the half.

If SHG were playing like they did against Rochester they would be up 40-14. Lots of confusion among SHG defenders on assignments and substitutions.

Looks like Morris is trying to play SHG like Mac did. SHG can't stop the run. Sounds like SHG has a few injuries and a few guys going both ways. Will be interesting to see if they tire out as the game goes on.

You gotta give Morris some credit on causing “confusion” though!

It's part of it, but alot of it is substitution issues. There are lot of names being yelled on the SHG sidelines.

[cigaros]

Morris gained a lot of momentum with that last touchdown drive.

[FB1976]

I'm beginning to wonder if the SHG announcer understands football

Is he a fill-in?

The girl on the sideline has had to correct them more than a few times.

[FB1976]

SHG TD 23-17 SHG

[FB1976]

Morris marches right back for the TD, back up 24-23

Good game here!

[Kevin JCHS 81]

This game has the feel of 2 good teams having an old fashion slobberknocker.

SHG's no huddle seems to be frustrating Morris, but SHG's skill guys are paying the price each time with very hard tackles.

Wait till next week…

Wait till next week…

If SHG wins, they will definitely be limping into the Quarter Finals.

I’ve noticed!

[FB1976]

Interception by SHG

[Kevin JCHS 81]

Morris needs a big stop here. Or turnover.

[Kevin JCHS 81]

Got their stop, now it's all up to the Morris Offense.

[lukeirish]

Horrible officiating in this game. Obvious pass interference by Morris on an SHG receiver. No call. These guys are supposed to be the best of the best. Can't miss the obvious ones.

[FB1976]

Morris scores with 1:06 left....39 -36 Morris

[Kevin JCHS 81]

WOW

[Kevin JCHS 81]

Talk about 2 tired football teams.

[Kevin JCHS 81]

0.5 seconds left and still in doubt.

[FB1976]

SHG misses 52 yd FG attempt. 39- 36 Final

[The Disciple]

Wow !! What a game !

[pjjp]

Both teams fought their hearts out. Great game.

Whew! That was a battle. That's gotta be the front runner for game of the week.
