200th consecutive sellout
200th straight sellout is correct. Also this victory over CU ended a 12 game losing streak vs. Top 5 teams and was also the Huskers first win over a higher ranked team since beating LSU in the '87 Sugar Bowl.

Good job.

D played lights out. Brook picked them apart with passes to TE that day. That was a CU team loaded with NFL talent.

CU had their own version of the Scoring Explosion 11 years later with Stewart, Salaam (RIP) and Westbrook. Salaam even won the Heisman to match Rozier. Not so explosive that day but that game was scary as hell going in.

The announcers during the game were saying TO played convicts forgetting the players Bill McCartney would play?

disclaimer(not saying any of them were actually convicted of anything) it was just how they were saying it referring to LP. Found that odd when I watched it last week or two weeks ago.
