Agreed. He bore some of the early brunt of NU's fall from elite status. Those offenses back then would have looked alot worse without Lords' abilities to scramble and improvise.

Lord had one of the best games ever for any NU QB anytime against Texas in '02. Dude was sick. "In the zone" as they sometime say....except for his last play of the game. Lord threw a INT that killed any chance of winning the game in the waning moments.
