Was at the KU game back then if pass interference was called it wasn’t a 15 yard penalty...Jim McFarland was interfered with inside the 10 or 15 and a KU player also received a personal foul ball was placed at the 3 yard line and Jeff Kinney scored the winning TD..

Pepper Rodgers was so pissed off eating a sandwich that it was reported that Bob Devaney jokingly ask Pepper how he like his brother in law officiating.Laughing

i think that was osborne's first game we were ranked no. 1 pre-season and lost i believe 17-14 at the coliseum with a fg. by efren herrera.harmon against david humm. i witnessed that debacle.

No that was Devaney’s last year.. Osborne won his debut in 1973..
