Out of curiosity, I looked up the box score of the 84-13 win over Minnesota in 83 to see if any quarter rivaled that one. That day the Huskers went 21-21-21-21.

I watched that game a couple of months ago. After the first half was over the entire Minnesota team starting the head coach 'threw in the towel'. They were done.

The play I will always remember is Irving Fryar splitting out wide to the left and none of the Gophers following him out there. No idea what play was called, but Gill and Fryar just kind of looked at each other, shrugged their shoulders and said "Why not?" So Gill took the snap, tossed the ball out there and Fryar waltzed about 60 yards for a TD.
