What’s even more amazing is we blew out Colorado and Kansas the previous 2 weeks if I remember correctly, and they were both ranked.

That was the only conference loss during the Frazier/Berringer playing era (I'm not counting Berringer's 1991 redshirt season, but even counting 1991, it still holds as we went 6-0-1 that year, tying Colorado).

I couldn’t say. I watched the Colorado and Kansas games, but not the ISU game... was traveling. Never knew much about that game except we lost.

I think it was Trev Alberts who got the penalty, and it was after a drive ending sack. That was the point that my heart dropped and accepted the idea that we could actually lose the game.
