Loved watching Dan Johnson play, back in the Van Horn era. I remember when the 2000 Huskers faced Butler in the first round of the NCAA regionals. Sports Nightly interviewed the Butler head coach the night before the game. They asked him about Johnson, who spent his freshman year at Butler before going to a JUCO and then on to Nebraska. He said something like:

"Oh we loved Dan, and we were really sorry to lose him. Unfortunately, he hit the ball a lot harder than he hit the books."
