Lol, this was all in good fun, but I’ve had about enough of the “naive, falling for a car salesman’s pitch” rhetoric. Completely ridiculous claim and you can’t defend a word of it. There’s two things those two have in common and the only reason you even say it.
1. Both coach and coached at Texas programs.
2. They’re white.
Do you know the difference in turning Texas tech into a household name and taking A&M to a sweet 16?
Do you know the difference in coming an overtime away from a nation title at the big12 doormat program and making one sweet 16 at A&M? He went to the elite 8 also, Gillispie? None.
