Moreno....lost and soft.

He'll get more time in the gym in the off season and won't be as soft next year. Give him a minute to develop. He's not a bulky muscle guy like Bam or JQ.
Same with JJ. Horrible with development.
He's been soft all year. It's holding him back until corrected. He literally has NO HAND strength.
Not true. He's lazy at times and lacks strength overall. I think he's slow as molasses and you can't teach speed.

Moreno has been flat out bad for about a month now. BG has stepped up. Hopefully, both show up next game.
He’s a freshman playing his first game in the ncaa tournament. He’s going to be fine. Some awful harsh criticisms of him. Smh
I’ve defended Moreno. He’s a freshman, took on a bigger role than anticipated. Seems like a good kid. Has obviously hit the wall, etc etc.

I think he has hit the perversely wall which happens to a lot of freshmen
MM can’t guard the perimeter because he has no lateral quickness and he can rebound because he doesn’t jump. I like his back to the basket game but he just isn’t very athletic.
I have issues with pope but saying he’s failed him after a freshman wall has been hit is kinda goofy. Sometimes things are more in the middle.
Ok, Pope has failed him....up to this point. It's been a full season and he's STILL playing way too soft. How many times must he get a rebound stripped? Coaching can stop that.....
Who was arguing with me that this kid is still a surefire 1st rounder? Maybe you're right, but he ain't close to ready. Amd there's nothing wrong with that for a Freshman big. It would be a disservice to his future to turn pro
When he started receiving and celebrating "touch money" ....criticism becomes acceptable. Not a kid.
Find it odd we are bashing a Freshman. This isn't a John Wall type player he was a 5 star sure but was always going to be at college for 2-3 years.

Right now, JJ is terrible, I felt more confident in Travis Perry running the point last year, JJ is a turnover waiting to happen, when he dribbles the ball up the floor I expect a turnover. He has a whole lot to work on.
Moreno doesn't move his feet on defense as much as he should & reaches. He needs to work on sliding his feet on defense.

Moreno has had some great games. Bad look to rag on a player. Hopefully he takes a jump next year.
I am critical of Pope's performance this season but I can't say he has failed Moreno just yet. He's still young and has athletic limitations that were already baked in. He will need to put in a lot of strength and conditioning work in the off season.
moreno is way way to stiff and slow to be counted on. he will just get destroyed on pick and roll and teams that spread the floor. he is even slow/deliberate when it comes to making a offensive move. he is just tall at this point.

He can be a real good player down the road but just has to find a new energy level and quicker reaction to his game. He seems to react at a step slower pace than the other 9 on the floor. Some of that is a nice guy, lack of an aggressive demeanor
He’s a freshman and yeah, he’s struggling. But I’m here for it. Hope some of these guys stick around and develop. I’d rather have seasoned players over one and done players
Just super bad body language. Constantly running like he's moping around sad. Never has his hands up. Won't ever JUMP for a rebound. Like he has cement in his shoes. I don't know if he's tired, a girlfriend left him..I don't know what. Santa Clara is not some big physical team and he was basically unplayable.

Moreno is young and still growing up physically and mentally. He had a horrible game today.We will see Sunday if he learned anything from today.Hopefully it will get better for him.
bull crap... he got thrown to the wolves because JQ decided to sit out....so he got a lot more minutes and is much farther along than he would have been
its nothing that special supplements and steroids couldnt fix and turn around.
I like Moreno and Jelavic but Pope has got to go with whats working. Garrison and Mo D need to start and play more. Whoever ain’t bringing it they need be on the bench.

....It's JQ's fault he's playing like trash....
He's had some surprisingly good gams and some surprisingly bad games. Today was a really bad one . He has to contribute , we cant rely on BG regardless of how well he played today . I believe MM will be a stud in the future , hes just young and not physically mature yet .
