Humphries was ok. Missed a couple of chippies as he seems to do. I think Tai has the makings of being a better defender than Humphries though and probably an equally good rebounder if given the opportunities. And as mentioned above looks to be the only guy we have who will stay on a screen until the guard clears. That's subtly very important. Would not mind at all to see him in the lineup with Bam and the guards. We need some physicality.

I like him in a garbage man role. Never feed him the ball. Make him a screener and live off the offensive and defensive glass.

I'd basically do the same with Humphries and to a lesser extent Bam. None of them are skilled and I think part of our recent regression was concentrating on getting Bam the ball and not just ripping and running.

Gabriel finished with 7 and 6 tonight. Our bigs helped earn a considerable rebounding advantage, and Bam only played 22 minutes. I'll take 13 combined boards from Gabriel/Hump every game.

I liked what I saw from Tai tonight, didn't score but did a lot of things that were positive. For a guy who rarely sees the floor it was a good showing and I saw promise for the future from him. Hope we get to see more of him in future games this season.

Bam isn't skilled? WTF.

With the whistle happy refs in the SEC it makes it hard for guys who play like that. You put a body on your man and you get called for a foul. Tai looked tough in his minutes but when you get 3 fouls in 12 minutes, you can't get much more time than that.

Tai isn't the most polished player we have, but he plays all out and when he gets his hands on the ball, it's his

Tai and/or Hump will never be AA, but with those 2 and SKJ,
I wonder out loud if Knox may be more needed than Bamba if
we had to choose just one. (Diallo, Vandy, & Knox could all be
considered SG or SF)

Richards, Hump, Tai>>>>>>>>>Bam, Hump, Tai ????

He didn't really look any worse than Hump. I don't mind seeing him a few minutes a game to beat up on an opposing C.

Was at the game. Tai sure spreads out and holds his spot down low. Doesn't follow the ball and his man at the same time real well yet but he does screen and play hard. Glad to see him contribute. His enthusiasm while on the bench last night stood out to me. Probably because he felt a part. Was watching the 3 go when he got called for a foul underneath. Was that a good call and should the 3 have gotten wiped out?

As far as Tai goes...about the only thing I can eat is:
Khao phat - One of the most common rice dishes in Thailand. Usually with chicken, beef, shrimp, pork, crab, coconut or pineapple, or vegetarian.

After last night, I hope Tai comes back next year. Like other posters that raved about Gabriel 2 games ago, hope one of them returns.
