BALTIMORE -- A.J. Hendy scored on a 28-yard interception return and recovered two fumbles as unbeaten Maryland forced six turnovers in a surprisingly easy 37-0 victory over West Virginia on Saturday.

Off to their best start since 2001, the Terrapins (4-0) led 30-0 at halftime after limiting the Mountaineers (2-2) to two first downs and picking off two passes.

It rained hard in the third quarter, and many of the fans at the home stadium of the Baltimore Ravens decided they'd seen enough. Only a few thousand were in the stands when West Virginia twice lost fumbles inside the Maryland 25.
:scream:

You beat the team that beat WVU .... the closest you've ever come to beating WVU and the closest you ever will come. No wonder that MD game is so important to you.

Making fun of only beating one team with a winning record? That sounds a whole lot like your 1988, "playing for a national championship", greatest season ever. Did anyone you beat that year besides Syracuse have a winning record? You played 4 or 5 3-8 teams that year. Oh wait, I guess Pitt did go 6-5, so in your regular season you played 9 teams with a losing record. That's your greatest season ever, made possible because you played a combination of bad teams and teams that just had really bad years.

To bad it's mathematically impossible for that luck to be reproduced in the Big 12 or you might get to "play for another national championship".

Wow, you aren't the brightest bulb on the tree, are you?

How many games did WVU lose that year? Certainly WVU's best win was against the 14th ranked 9-1 Orange, what was the best win the herd had this season? Funny, WVU was ranked 4th in that matchup, how highly ranked did the herd get this season?

You played a schedule of tune up teams and recently promoted AA schools and couldn't manage to go undefeated. Couldn't do it last year either, but hey, 13 wins got you just into the rankings, so I guess, congratulations.
