More Love for Ozigbo

One year under Frost and staff transformed Ozigbo from a perennial situational, short yardage back, into what appears to be a coming high NFL pick.
For those of you interested, the game is this Saturday Jan 19th at 2pm CST, and I believe it’s on the NFL Network.
I really am proud of Devine for sticking with it and working hard to get himself to be his best.
Let’s hope Frost & Co. continue to maximize potential for other players some may have given up on.

Just think what he could have done with a better oline. Glad for him and hope his stock rises.

When HCSF compared him to Royce Freeman, that spoke volumes. This kid is going to make a well-deserved chunk of $.

I doubted him prior to this season because I didn’t think he was optimal for the scheme but he turned out very well. I hope he goes in to the NFL and continues to make Husker fans proud..

To think Nebraska flipped him from Iowa State. Crazy how that kind of talent gets often over looked. Too bad Riley couldn't see it and thank hod Ozigbo doesnt run away.
Yup. This year, someone's going to get a J. Taylor with a little better speed and wiggle, at about 1/2 the price that someone is going to get J. Taylor next year.
It's amazing what development and coaching will do. We have seen this in the past with certain coaches, but the entire package has never been delivered. I think Frost will finally break that chain.
Love to see him fall into the Steelers backfield.

Would love to see him go to the Chiefs. I think he could kill it in that offense.
The only credit I give Riley, is for being a nice guy and that's something, just not a leader of a high powered college football program.
Last thing on this, Scott Frost changed Ozigbo's life incredibly and forever, this is what people like Frost do ...

To be fair to Zig, he took advantage of the opportunity. We saw glimpses of what he could be since he was a frosh. But yes, Zig is exhibit A in the gulf of difference between Frost and Riley. Will be a factor in recruiting and NU will be in the mix for high quality RB talent going forward.
He recognized Ziggy's talent and offered him. I still remember the bitching about us stealing a recruit from Iowa State. The funny thing is that he would have won more games if he had gone to ISU...
Man we all were sure he was going to disappear down the depth chart and he just grabbed that job and had an excellent season. Dude served up crow crow and I am happy to eat it up with extra hot sauce.
I think 2017 the awful OL play really made him look bad. Dude could always play and run tough but he added quickness and burst this year and finished big runs like never before.
