Doesn't he sound like he's either confused over exactly what they wanted him to say, or maybe he just forgot what he was talking about? That clip makes no sense, and I don't think he's even aware of how incoherent he sounds.
He has been telling the same stories for over 50 years. With his mental decline, his memory is blurring them together.
As someone who used to use the train system on the east coast, I know it's needed, but not the stuff they are talking about now. We do not need bullet trains...we need better light rail around major cities....
