Would not surprise me with Reilly. Wasn't he arrested for DUI this past year at some point? My apologies to Reilly if that is not true. Nate Gerry? That would be a surprise.

Does his ejection in the bowl game carry over into the first game this year? I recall if it is for a fight, the suspension might carry into the next game, but I don't recall if that is the case for an ejection for targeting. Just speculating.

Usually, if I am not mistaken, it is a one half suspension. And he was ejected in the first half so my guess is that is not the issue here

Man I hope this isn't true, even if it's only one game. Riley has gone through a lot of s*** lately.

The first game of the year always has suspensions for actions that happened last spring or over the summer. It's nothing new or out of the ordinary so I'm sure Riley will handle it like normal.

Not huge hits for the opener but it still sucks. At least it's only 2 this year, was it 4 or 5 last year?

Lamar Jackson starts week 1? I'd be ok with that. I want to see him get some quality time this year if he's not redshirting

Agree. Gerry is a team captain. In that sense, its almost worse if it was "just late for meetings". Hopefully, MR will clarify. As a coach, you want your team captains to be a model of what the program expects.

In all honestly though hopefully they take this wake up call to heart and start setting better examples for the youngsters.
