Usually, if I am not mistaken, it is a one half suspension. And he was ejected in the first half so my guess is that is not the issue hereDoes his ejection in the bowl game carry over into the first game this year? I recall if it is for a fight, the suspension might carry into the next game, but I don't recall if that is the case for an ejection for targeting. Just speculating.
I hope it is for some minor violation like being chronically late for meetings or something similar. Or maybe he stole some bikes? Just kidding.Gerry's is non-football related. My guess is violation of team rules if true. Time will tell...
Lamar Jackson starts week 1? I'd be ok with that. I want to see him get some quality time this year if he's not redshirting
Agree. Gerry is a team captain. In that sense, its almost worse if it was "just late for meetings". Hopefully, MR will clarify. As a coach, you want your team captains to be a model of what the program expects. What a disappointment with Gerry. Seniors are supposed to set the example. I'm glad it's not team related, but come on.
Jackson is at CB.
Well, as seniors I don't think they are worthy of captain status now.Could understand Reiily but not Gerry.
