Awesome pick up for Chiefs as a backup. Wentz gets to stay relatively close to home and an area he is likely comfortable in. Chiefs get a veteran backup who has lots of experience and won't be a problem off the field.
I wonder why they didn’t want to keep Gabbert around.

And obviously they have had their share of the off field issues.

So it sounds like Rice owns the Vette and was leasing the Lambo... and it also sounds like somebody elese was driving the Lambo, which would be a huge no no, "insurancely" speaking. If that is accurate, then the only insurance Rice would have for this would be whatever the Vette carried, which could also be a problem because his policy probably states it doesn't cover street racing.

Rice could be on the hook for all of this. Yikes.

Good.

He’s endangering innocent lives and you’re worried about the bill? Typical

I don't know why you keep lying about what you think I think about something when it comes to the Chiefs. In spite of all my public posts/thoughts on the subject, you literally make **** up and try to pick a fight about it with me. So weird.

I want the people involved to be made whole ASAP. Insurance will help make that happen, and happen sooner. Period.

If Rice has to pick up the tab on this, the people affected are going to have to wait, and it's possible he won't have the cash to make all this right.

So, for the slow blinkers out there (you) my thoughts are with the victims, and I hope Rice gets nailed to the wall.

Kong - I’m no chiefs fan but I’m curious on your perspective from other threads where you want the best players period regardless of culture and the soft stuff.

How do you reconcile bashing the chiefs (winners) due to these items but want DONU to bypass a positive culture to get wins with the best players - period?

You seemed to be supportive of posts referencing our best runs where we had a few questionable players who could easily be labeled as “More Husker Scumbaggery”.

Easy - I am a Nebraska fan and hate the scumbag chiefs and their born-on-3rd-base-but-thought-they-hit-a-triple scumbag fans.

Not a Chiefs fan, but went to the Eagles-Chiefs game last November (you know, the one where the Eagles beat the world champs at their own home on Monday night???). Chiefs fans were very tolerant of me and my crew, as we definitely let loose as only Philly fans can. Pounding on that sheet metal around the concourse ramp all the way out the stadium.

So now he admits he was driving the Lambo. I don’t see how the Chiefs don’t release him considering their franchise history of maiming the innocent on the highway. I doubt if they see him as worth the headache.

I'm glad he was the one behind that wheel. That means there's plenty of insurance.

Right now rice is asking his buddies. How much it will take to get them to take the fall for the pot
this would be the exact kind of no-character move I'd expect from a member of the chiefs

being a man and taking responsibility isn't even an option for these scumbags!

followed by the usual "I hope he gets the help he needs" because his personal accountability takes second place to the matter that it may be someone else's fault he is this way

So you're admitting Philly fans are trash? Very brave.

Yeah IDK...MAYBE they had a choice before they found a half oz of weed in the car to go with (which is legal in K.C but not Dallas)...but combine the weed with leaving the scene, I just don't see why you'd retain him. Be surprised if he isn't cut.... but they don't consult me on this stuff and we do have a 3 peat to think about so i'm OK with either decision the more I think about it (last sentence was satire for the slow blinkers)

He,'ll probably have to do some counseling and community service and then they keep him

Maybe Patty can help on the insurance and Captain Fatfück will give him another chance
